TEAM MISSION
Team Skyline Cadence Cyclery is a Texas based non-profit organization dedicated to raising cycling awareness, education and volunteer support of events in a family oriented environment. Members are comprised of men, women and juniors with varied experience from just starting out to seasoned veterans. Participation levels vary from leisure to competitive in Road Cycling, Mountain Bike, Cyclocross, Triathlons and Ironman events.
TEAM VISION
To support our mission, the team coordinates, participates and sponsors local group rides, rally's, mountain bike, road and cyclocross races. The team is made up of many individuals working together to make it what it is today. It's made up of individuals being active, making contacts, coordinating and participating in events.
Our team is a bottom up organization. While we do have a board of directors to manage more formal affairs, the larger team is made up of each member's network of friends and contacts created through your team referrer and event participation. Through these contacts members find similarly skilled an interested cyclist who encourage them and work together to make their cycling experience better.
At this time there aren't any formal requirements around participation in events. The only thing we ask is that you participate. Get out there, meet people, make friends, build your network within and outside the team. While doing so remember that you are representing the small business of Cadence Cyclery and every other person wearing the Cadence Shield.
